Vinocor USA recently named Brad Brunson to the position of Sales Representative for the East Coast and Midwest, a new position for the company.
Mr. Brunson joins Vinocor with 14 years of wine industry experience, and will provide the Midwest and East Coast wineries with a greater level service and attention.

Vinocor USA has completed the construction, and trial period of its new state of the art humidification room. At an investment of $150,000.00, this project included construction of a completely sealed stainless room, together with the latest technologies in water treatment and ozone sterilization.
This combination of technologies provides Vinocor with a system that minimizes the usage of water, guaranteeing a higher level of sterilization, while handling 1 million corks at a time, satisfying even the strictest customer requirements.

representation agreement with Intercap S.R.L., a high-quality
Italian capsules producer.

Vinocor USA facility will expand its facility from the current
20,340 sq.ft to more than 25,000 sq.ft on November 9th.
Experiencing its best sales year ever, proving the superior
quality of its products, Vinocor leased further space on
its building. With the new space Vinocor USA will carry
more stock, and is currently studying different alternatives
to increase its current processing capacity of 650,000 corks
per shift, to a projected capacity of 1 million corks per
shift.

Vinocor USA announces that
Jennifer Oliveira is joining the organization as Quality
Assurance Manager.
Jennifer has worked in the
wine industry since finishing her BA in Biology. She was
a Senior Lab Technician at Clos du Bois, and more recently
Lab Manager and Enologist at Blackstone Winery in Kenwood,
California.
Her experience as a customer
will enable a unique relationship between Vinocor and its
customers.

Vinocor Group announces that
during the fall of 2005 a new cork granulate production
facility will be built in Ponte de Sor, in the heart of
Alentejo. This facility will feature a new granulate steam
cleaning system, improving even more the already outstanding
sensory quality of its corks.
The first technical cork
lots produced using this new technology will be available
in the US market after Thanksgiving. |
